Legs On The Wall's LOVERS was a dazzling spectacle with five queer couples each performing an aerial duet from the iconic Quay Quarter Tower overlooking the World Pride Marc

LOVERS

Each aerial duet performed by the five mesmerizing queer couples was to be adorned with outfits that held a story of their own. To bring this vision to life, I turned to repurposed military parachutes, recognizing their potential to embody the essence of strength and transformation. With meticulous care, I integrated the existing reinforcement stitches into the fabric, seamlessly blending the past with the present.

As the sun cast its golden hues upon the stage, the result of my labor unveiled itself – a collection of striking ensembles that transcended mere clothing. These parachute-inspired creations not only adorned the performers but also communicated a message of conscious design and sustainable fashion. Amidst the backdrop of the Quay Quarter Tower, my heart swelled with pride as the ten partnering artists took flight, embodying the beauty of love and creativity woven into every stitch
