denim colection

Every upcycling adventure begins with denim. We hunt through thrift stores, donation centres and closets to rescue jeans that are no longer in use. Faded knees, frayed hems, sun-bleached panels – all those so-called imperfections are exactly what I’m looking for. They are the starting point.

We take the jeans apart slowly, not just cutting but unpicking, almost like denim surgery. Nothing is wasted: seams, waistbands, pockets, labels – everything is saved as potential. We almost worship the material at this stage. Denim stops being “old jeans” and becomes raw fibre again. I cut it into strips and weave them together by hand, creating new textured fabrics that elevate the denim into something sculptural and unexpected.

From there I design directly on the body, creating my own patterns inspired by the 80s – strong shoulders, sharp lines, bold silhouettes. Using zero-waste and low-waste cutting, I piece together panels from different jeans and woven sections, playing with tone, fading and original seams as graphic elements, not flaws to hide.

Each garment is fitted and refined so it feels powerful, comfortable and completely genderless – like everyday armour you actually want to wear. No two pieces are the same. Every one carries the memory of its past life while stepping into a new one, proving that what we already have is more than enough when we choose to reimagine it.
